Jammu (Jammu and Kashmir) [India]: Yoga is the new mantra to conquer stress and effectively handle extreme conditions in the Valley by jawans.
Therefore, a special Sukshma Yoga session was recently organised for the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in Jammu to effectively concentrate, meditate and to fight stress.
S.N. Shrivastava, Special DG, Jammu and Kashmir Zone, CRPF graced the occasion as the chief guest and formally inaugurated the session.
The Yoga session was conducted under the able supervision of Dr. Amrit Raj, who is the fourth generation Ayurvedic doctor and certified Yoga teacher and personal trainer of ex-president, Dr. Pratibha Patil.
Speaking on the occasion, SN Shrivastava advised the jawans to perform Yoga regularly to get rid of stress.
“Yoga is the best way to fight stress especially as these men are handling difficult situations in form of stone pelting in the Valley. Due to our consistent training, our CRPF men have been able to handle the stone pelting so well,” Shrivastava said.
The jawans after the session said that it was good for them and it relieved the stress, which they are subjected to while handling extreme situations in the Valley. (ANI)
