Islamabad: Pakistan Army spokesperson Asif Ghafoor heavily criticized scrapping of Article 370 of Indian Constitution which gave special status to Jammu and Kashmir.
He tweeted, ” It’s not over. It won’t be until just struggle of our Kashmiris succeeds. It will IA succeed. We will go to any extent to let them have their right to self determination. An illegal paper annexation won’t deter anyone of us. Revoking in essence gives occupied status 1947-48.”
Earlier, Asif had tweeted, “Humanity is a common fundamental of all religions. Atrocities in IOJ&K and lynching of muslims should be seen in the same context. Human conscience should react against such inhuman treatment of humans.
Humans do posses conscience.”.
It may be mentioned that after the removal of the Article, many Pakistani authorities have raised voices against the decision.
Parliament passed “Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation Bill 2019”
Yesterday, Lok Sabha passed the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation Bill 2019 and approved the resolution to abrogate the Constitution’s Article 370.
Earlier, the Bill was passed by Rajya Sabha.
After President’s approval, Jammu and Kashmir will be bifurcated into two Union Territories after viz., Jammu and Kashmir with legislature and Ladakh without legislature.
