Hyderabad: TPCC working president A Revanth Reddy’s friends Uday Simha and Sebastian have appeared before the Income Tax officials’ inquiry today.
It may be mentioned here that the IT officials conducted raids in the residences of Uday Sinmha and , Sebastian, along with Revanth Reddy and Revanth Reddy’s brother Kondal Reddy. As per schedule, Revanth Reddy, Sebastian, and Uday Simha have to appear before the IT officials at Basheerbagh. Uday Simha and Sebastian attended before the officials, but Revanth Reddy abstained from attending before the officials with personal reasons. The officials have directed Uday Simha to attend once again on October 3.
Speaking on the occasion, Uday Simha alleged that the IT officials were harassing him and his family in the name of raids. He said that the IT officials told him that they didn’t conduct any raids in his brother’s residence located at Jaipuri Colony in Nagole when he asked about raids in his brothers’ residence. He said they might be fake officials and probably they were caretaker chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s persons. He said that they took away his brother’s gold ornaments, cash, and some documents.
