Income Tax department has realized Rs. 6,96,200 crore revenue as direct taxes for the year 2014-15 which is 14 per cent less against the target.
The Income Tax Department officials have said the collected revenue has share of income tax and corporate tax.
The department had realized revenue of Rs 5,83,000 crore last year.
This year income revenue has an increase of 19 per cent compared to last year, the official said. (NSS)
