Minister of Information Technology, Mr. P. Lakshmaiah said that due to political turmoil in the state business activities and IT industry won’t be affected. These activities are being carried out on the basis of financial utility. India ranks third after Indonesia and China in IT. Our economy is stable and better than any other country. He pointed out that people were expressing doubts for the past two years that our IT industry and trade activities will be slowed down but it did not happen.
The space acquired by these industries is more than the previously acquired space which is an indication that our IT industry is progressing. If the Government doesn’t take any decision, it will get affected but during the past 8 years, it didn’t happen. At present, Rs.6,47,000 Crore have been invested in these industries. He told that there are better opportunities for trade and industry in the state.
