Israeli warplanes again intrude into Gaza’s airspace

This is the third time the Israeli jets have intruded into Gaza’s airspace over the past week.

On Sunday, Israeli warplanes fired two missiles at a site on the outskirts of southern Gaza town of Rafah, causing serious damage to a cement factory.

Earlier on Friday, Israeli warplanes launched an airstrike against northern part of the impoverished territory, injuring two Palestinian residents.

More than 1,400 Palestinians were killed during Israel’s December 2008-January 2009 war on the people of Gaza.

The Israeli-blockaded sliver has been widely recognized as the world’s largest open-air prison, with Tel Aviv exercising full control over its airspace, territorial waters, and border crossings.
