Israeli soldiers injure three Gazans

Gaza, October 21: Israeli forces have wounded three Palestinians in the eastern Gaza Strip, following an attack on two workers in the north of the coastal sliver.

Earlier on Thursday, two Palestinian workers came under Israeli gunfire when they were collecting scrap metals, a Press TV correspondent reported.

The blockaded Gaza Strip suffers regular airstrikes near the Egyptian border in the south, where Palestinians try to import their basic needs trough a network of cross-border tunnels.

Israeli forces also target Palestinians in the north of the coastal sliver near the separation fence with Israel, usually on alleged suspicions of military movements or bombing plots.

Israel has repeatedly assaulted Palestinians in the Gaza Strip since its deadly December 2008-January 2009 offensive against the territory which killed more than 1,400 Palestinians.
