The Israeli regime’s military chief of staff says he has ordered his forces to increase the number of covert operations against other countries.
“You almost won’t find a point in time where something isn’t happening somewhere in the world,” Lieutenant General Benny Gantz said in an interview.
“I am escalating all those special operations,” he added.
Gantz did not identify any of the countries the operations were being carried out against, refusing to give further detail.
According to report published in February 2012, Gantz established a new unit called the ‘Depth Corps,’ which oversees operations deep in foreign territories, in December 2011.
The report said that the Israeli military has “a number of units that specialize in covert operations.”
