Hyderabad, December 03: Alon Ushpiz, Ambassador of Israel to India, will be visiting Hyderabad along with a core team next week. This will be his maiden visit to the city after he has taken over as the new Ambassador to India.
Alon Ushpiz was earlier in Washington DC, USA and had also served in Japan. His visit gains significance in the wake of Israel expecting to have a Free Trade Agreement with India next year which could catapult bilateral trade between two countries to USD 15 billion from USD 5 billion in the next few years.
One other sector which has lot of Israeli investors is the real estate and infrastructure area. Currently, with real estate market down in certain areas of India, it would be a good idea if such companies can approach Israeli investor’s who have an appetite in investing in Hyderabad according to FAPCCI press release.
With several Airline Companies eyeing Hyderabad as their MRO bases, Israel has vast developed technologies in field of aircraft security and systems.
While FAPCCI has been in the forefront of promoting trade with both large as well as SME’s in the State, this meet at FAPCCI will set in motion opportunities with country of Israel.
Apart from cordial bilateral relations between both the countries, AP ranks high in terms of associating with Israel in fields of Water management, dairy development, vegetable, semi-arid zone cultivations and home land security.
The Ambassador would be meeting the Chief Minister as well as call on the Governor and interact with business leaders in the State.
