New Delhi: Isolated places in Uttar Pradesh witnessed rain or thundershower on Tuesday with the southwest monsoon being normal.
According to the MeT office, Azamgarh, Dhaurahara and Narai recorded 9 cm rain each, followed by Sultanpur, Amethi, Bareilly (8 each), Biswan, Kheri, Elgin Bridge, Rath (7 each) and Dudhi, Hamirpur, Mahoba (6 cm each).
The MeT office has forecast rain or thundershower at many places in the eastern parts of the state on Wednesday.
