Ismail Ali Khan, former director of Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) has been appointed as the chairman of the newly created Electricity Regulatory Commission of Telangana state here on Tuesday.
The other members of the ERC includes L Manohar Reddy, presently director of Andhra Pradesh ERC and will be technical in-charge and H Srinivasulu, who is currently an advisor to Deloitte Corp, will be the financial in-charge.
Ali Khan hails from Asifabad in Adilabad district, is currently a member of the Bihar State Electricity Regulatory Commission and he previously served as advisor (energy) to the Planning Commission.
