Riyadh: Grand Mufti, Sheikh Abdul Aziz Al-Asheikh said that IS is a terrorist group and is un-Islamic.
While speaking at a seminar at Imam Turki bin Abdullah Mosque in Riyadh on Thursday, Al-Asheikh said that the members of IS could be described as criminals whose plan is to shed the blood of Muslims. They are shedding the blood of the Muslims in Iraq and elsewhere.
A professor in Islamic Studies, Sulaiman Al-Ruhaili called on Muslim countries governments to wage war against IS to protect the Muslim world.
He said that this group is killing Muslims women and children in Syria which is un-Islamic. He also claimed that the group cut off the head of a Kurdish Muslim woman with a knife.
