Hyderabad, June 28: Highlighting the importance of education for the Muslims, Prof. Moin Ansari, Head of the Dept. of Nutrition, Palmer University, USA told that through education only, change can occur in human beings thought process and he can think of scaling the heights of the sky for his development.
Education is the only thing which helps people throughout one’s life. He was addressing a meeting held at officers’ Mess, Malakpet, to mark the 6th annual day function of Crystal Educational and Charitable Trust. Dr. Ghulam Abbas Ahmed, Managing Trustee welcomed the guests and the parents of the students. Mr. Zaheeruddin Farooqui, Secretary of the Trust presented the annual report.
Continuing his speech Prof. Moin Ansari said that the lap of the mother is the first school for the child. Mother has an important role to play in her child’s education. In whatever environment, she places her child, he gets accustomed to it. It is, therefore, the duty of the mother to provide him Islamic education right from his childhood so that in his later life, following the Islamic principles, he could prove himself to be a good Muslims.
Dr. Mohammed Iftekharuddin, Director, MESCO Diagnostic Centre, Darul Shifa stressed the need to impart Islamic education in the beginning to the children so that they can earn a good name later. He highlighted the educational and welfare activities of Crystal Educational and Welfare Trust. On this occasion a student who sought admission in MBBS was felicitated. School bags and textbooks were distributed among the students by the Chief Guest Dr. Moin Ansari. Ms.Shaheda Ansari, stressed the need to get Islamic Education for everyone. She told that these days, people are not making any distinction between Halaal and Haraam and they don’t hesitate to let down others for their self motives.
She appealed to the rich people to sonate generously for the welfare activities of the poor. Dr. Ghulam Abbas told that a diagnostic center will be established by the trust next year. Mr. Mohammed Jafer, Chairman of Nizam’s institute of Engineering also addressed the gathering. Dr. M.A. Rafeeq, Mr. Mohammed Aneesuddin, Mr. Samee Ahmed Nomani, Advocate Supreme Court New Delhi and Mr. Waris Baig distributed the certificates to the candidates who have successfully completed the tailoring course.
