Siasat Art Gallery in collaboration with Salarjung Museum is organizing a grand exhibition of Islamic Calligraphy at Mir Turab Ali Khan Auditorium at Salarjung Museum. HE Hasan Noriyan, Consul General of Iran at Hyderabad will inaugurate this exhibition at 5:30 p.m. today at the second floor of the Western Block of Salarjung Museum.
Masterpieces of Islamic Calligraphy produced by 5 famous calligrapher are being exhibited. Siasat Urdu Daily has taken up the task of extending its activities in the fields of Education, Charity, Healthcare and other areas. It has now taken up promoting Islamic Calligraphy as part of its social service activities. The art of Calligraphy was dying on account of the advent of the Computer and other Technological gadgets. During the past three year a huge collection of nearly two thousand masterpieces of Islamic Calligraphy has be accumulated. It is understood that the observation of these calligraphic pieces would satisfy the soul of Human being. This exhibition will be open to public from Sunday 18th August from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Entry is free. It is expected that a large number of people from Hyderabad would visit this exhibition.
