Mr. Ghulam Raza Ansari, Ambassador of Iran in India, on the occasion of 35th anniversary of Islamic revolution in Iran hosted a dinner at his embassy in New Delhi. VIPs belonging to different walks of life including Union minister Dr. Farooq Abdullah, Maulana Peer Syed Shabbir Naqshbandi Iftekhari president All India Religious Leaders Association, senior BJP leader Dr. Murli Manohar Joshi, representatives of Jamat-e-Islami Hind and ambassadors of various countries attended the gathering.
On the occasion Maulana Peer Naqshbandi who had fully supported the leader of the revolution and founder of the Islamic Republic, Ayatollah Khomeini said Iranian kingship was like Yazid’s hereditary succession but the history of Iran changed when Iran got Islamic affiliation.
