“Science is a double edged sword and if it is used based on Islamic rules and instructions, it’ll make our universities follow Islamic codes,” the seminary instructor expressed.

“If this double edged sward is used based on wrong western culture, it leads our universities to secularism,” said Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi stating that,” So we must endeavor to eschew from penetration of negative aspects of western cultures in our Islamic sciences.”

“Western countries embed their wrong cultures in our books subtly and the sciences should be filtered,” the grand Ayatollah said.
