Islam bestows peace of mind and contentment of heart: reverted Muslim, Khadija

‘Search for peace of mind and contentment of heart introduced me to Islam and for this I started reading religious books and today Alhamdulillah I am a Muslim.’ Mrs. Khadija (former name Janet Foxcroft) revealed this during a meeting with Siasat correspondent. She told that she wishes to serve for the welfare and prosperity of her community as a Muslim, since Muslims are alienated from welfare activities due to which uncertainty prevails in elimination of poverty from Muslim community.

Mrs. Khadija told that she didn’t have contentment of heart when she was in a Catholic Christian family, though she had all the freedom and luxuries in her family. Khadija who hailed from Britain told that before embracing Islam she spent the life full of luxuries; she used to sing and dance but inspite of all these, she felt that she didn’t have heart’s contentment. She mentioned her condition to her friends. Meanwhile she met with some Muslim friends who persuaded her towards Islam.

Mrs. Khadija who is associated with teaching profession told that when she studied Islam she felt a strange change in her life. She started practicing basic principles of Islam after which she felt contentment of heart which she was searching for since years.

She told that she aspires to establish modern orphanage in Hyderabad and other cities of India for poor and orphan children.
