ISIS claims its Afghanistan leader Hafiz Saeed not dead

Karachi, July 13: The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) has reportedly released a new audio tape featuring its Afghanistan leader, Hafiz Saeed, challenging reports that he was killed in a U.S. drone strike.

The message from Saeed was posted on an ISIS website two days after the Afghan intelligence agency said that the Mumbai terror blasts mastermind had been killed in the Achin district of Nangarhar province, reported the Dawn.

The audio is yet to be independently verified.

Saeed, along with other militants, had switched allegiance from the Taliban to ISIS last year. (ANI)
