Finally the word is out. Ishant Sharma is out of India’s Cricket World Cup squad, thus putting an end to endless speculations regarding his chances of playing in the quadrennial tournament.
According to reports, the injured pace bowler didn’t bowl during Saturday’s net session in Adelaide, and he is likely to be replaced by Mohit Sharma in the final 15 squad.
“We have officially written to the ICC asking for a replacement. Now, it’s up to them to decide,” the report qouted a BCCI official confirming the new development.
