Hyderabad: A delegation from the prestigious Indian School of Business (ISB) met Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly Speaker Kodela Siva Prasad Rao to discuss about the capacity building and leadership programme for AP MLAs.
“The programme will be a two-day highly competitive module which aims to provide a learning platform for MLAs which will enable them to be more effective in their work and rise up to positions of greater influence,” a release from the Speaker’s office said here.
The workshop is designed around modules such as leadership, economic development, policy making, social welfare and development issues in Andhra Pradesh, it said.
The workshop will also help the legislators in imbibing new ways of working and building professional networks with their peers from other states, it said.
ISB has considerable experience in developing programmes that cater to capacity building needs of elected representatives, the release added.
