Isabella Rossellini feels it’s difficult to work in Hollywood after having kids

The ‘Blue Velvet’ star Isabella Rossellini shares the dark truth of Hollywood as she believes that having children holds back a women’s career in the industry.
The Italian actress said that it was unbelievably difficult for her and for other actresses to work after having a family and acts like the biggest problem standing in the way of female stars achieving parity with men, Stuff.co.nz reported.

The 62-year-old actress and filmmaker explained that she doesn’t have many complaints about the industry, but feel that women, more and more, are part of the industry, but the family and the responsibility that comes with it are still theirs.

Rossellini shared that she even tried to take her children with her on the set, but it didn’t work for long as they got older and wanted to stay with their friends and then had to go school. (ANI)
