NSS): Telangana Education Minister Jagadishwar Reddy on Saturday made it clear that irregularities in the government-run schools would be curbed; simultaneously quality of education would also be improved.
Speaking at a “Meet-the-Press” organized in the Press Club here, the Minister said he would strive to solve the issues in the education system in the State. “Education to all is our ultimate dream”, he added. The Government would maintain zero tolerance on the unethical practices of private and corporate educational institutions, he warned.
Reddy said the Telangana State would be developed into a No. 1 State in education in the country. He regretted that education system collapsed during the previous Andhra colonial rule. Stating that the State government would take steps for the welfare of journalists,would see the fees of children of the journalists waived. (NSS)
