Large scale irregularities have been exposed in Aneesul Ghurba orphanage, Nampally and action will be taken against the offenders. Chief Executive Officer Waqf Board Mohammed Asadullah made two surprise visits to Aneesul Ghurba on the complaints of irregularities and identified several loopholes and irregularities. The erring staff has been identified and process to suspend or sack them has begun.
Chief Executive Officer told that the staff of Aneesul Ghurba were misleading the Waqf Board by providing wrong information regarding the strength of students in the orphanage. He told that the total number of students is not even 100.
During his surprise visit the Chief Executive Officer learnt that 36 girls have been enrolled in the register while the strength of girls is just 25. Similarly the number of boys was also less than shown by the staff. When asked, the manager, caretaker and junior assistant failed to give any satisfactory answer. Hence it has been decided to take disciplinary action against the trio.
It must be noted that Aneesul Ghurba has 25 fixed deposit accounts in 9 banks which have the deposit of Rs. 1.57 Cr while 16 lakh is in saving account.
