Noida, February 07: A case of robbery involving theft of iron pipes from a truck was today registered in a police station here in Sector 39.
The incident occurred at Mahamaya Flyover last night when driver Sher Singh alighted at a lonely stretch in Bisrakh, police said.
Bisrakh Police had sent him to Noida saying that the spot where the theft took place falls under the jurisdiction of Noida police.
Later, police stations at Sector 39 and 49 disputed over jurisdiction areas for registering the case. The matter was sort out after senior police officers intervened and the case was registered at Sector 39.
