Efforts are on for decades to tarnish the beauty of Charminar. Law enforcing police have erected room-type iron barricades on which plastic sheet and cartons are used as roof. It is said that four police cops stay in the iron room.
Such a structure right beneath the Charminar is affecting the beauty of historic building. It looks an ugly blot on the great historic monument. Locals and tourists expressed disapproval over the matter.
This police outpost not only disrupts traffic but also affects the beauty of the monument. Police can adopt another way for security. On the other hand citizens feel that the outpost could be shifted to ACP office.
