Irfan Pathan holds this cricketer responsible for his career downfall

New Delhi: Irfan Pathan who was one of the rising cricketers in 2003, suddenly disappeared. While praising India’s present cricketer, Hardik Pandya, he expressed his pain for sudden downfall of his career.

He said that a talented cricketer can show his full talent only when he gets full support from team management. He further praised Indian captain Virat Kohli who showed confidence in Hardik Pandya’s talent.

Pandya has started playing for India last year. He has also raised hopes in the same manner as Baroda’s Pathan did 14 years ago.

Talking about the support that Hardik Pandya is getting, 32-year-old Pathan said that it is good to see players supporting each other.

It may be mentioned that when Irfan Pathan started playing for Team India, Sourav Ganguly was captain but in 2007 Dhoni became captain. In 2008, Pathan’s Test career was over and after that in 2012, his one-day career came to an end.

According to the reports, his relation with MS Dhoni was not good and in the meantime, his bowling skills were also fading away. Pathan said that the role of captain is very important for the player to perform well.
