Iran’s supremo lands in Iraq, hails ‘special’ relation between the 2 nations

Baghdad: Iran’s supremo Hassan Rouhani has arrived in Iraq today for his first official visit a state television reported.

Rouhani’s visit comes amid Washington pressurizing Baghdad to limit its ties with its neighbouring nation.

Even as America is pressurizing Iran to limit its ties, Rouhani before leaving made it clear that this action is always ready to help its neighbours and that the “special” relations between Iran and Iraq cannot be compared to Baghdad’s ties “with an aggressor country like America”.
