Tehran, February 24: Iran’s Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi has met with the family of an Iranian national who has been held in Nigerian custody.
During the meeting on Wednesday, Salehi promised that the Foreign Ministry will spare no effort to release the Iranian national.
The Iranian top diplomat also stressed that the Islamic Republic is obliged to defend its nationals “through all legal and diplomatic channels.”
Aghajani’s family also called for the release of the Iranian businessman who was arrested in November.
