Tehran, June 06: Iran’s Parliament (Majlis) Speaker Ali Larijani says the Islamic Republic will counter any act of aggression against the country with its missiles.
“Iran has turned into an independent, influential and inspiring country in the region, and the enmity of our enemies is not because of issues such as [Tehran’s] nuclear program,” Larijani said on Sunday.
Larijani added that the hostility of Iran’s enemies stemmed from the country’s influence in the region, Fars News Agency reported.
“The enemies of our country always tried to achieve their objectives such as separatism through plots and causing sedition,” Larijani said.
“But they realized that they could not counter this revolution thorough coups d’état or similar measures.”
“The enemies of the [Islamic] Revolution… failed because of the presence of the Rule of Just Jurisprudent,” the Iranian lawmaker added.
Referring to the crimes of the US and Israel in Palestine, the Iranian lawmaker added that “they fuel Muslim resentment toward themselves with these measures and they should know that Muslims will stand against them.”
