Iran unveils new accomplishments

Tehran, February 20: Iran’s defense minister has hailed the completion of 32 scientific and research projects, which were unveiled at a ceremony on Saturday.

“Today, we unveiled projects in the fields of materiel, weaponry, space, and precision components,” Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi said at the ceremony, a Media correspondent reported.

The new technology can be used in space, missile, submarine, arms, and ammunition projects, he added.

Iranian experts conducted the projects in a wide variety of fields at Malek Ashtar Industrial University, he explained.

Vahidi also praised the defense industries for their close cooperation with academic centers, saying it has helped offset the sanctions imposed on the country.
