Iran team talks business with Dy CM, Jupally

A team of delegates of Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture of Khorsan Razavi Province, Iran today met Deputy Chief Minister Mahamood Ali and Industries Minister, Jupally Krishna Rao at Ministers quarters here.

The delegation comprising of 25 industrialists and members of commerce had a brief discussion on forging bilateral relationships of commerce and industrial development with India and in particular with the state of Telangana. The President of Chamber of Commerce said there is special place for the city of Hyderabad in the hearts of Irani people as for centuries this city has been home for many of their community. Post lifting of UN sanctions on Iran their country and in particular the Khorsan Razavi province of the most important provinces of Iran which is strategically located next to CLS countries and Afghanistan is known as CIS Gate. And has 6000 production units in different lines of food and medicinal industries, textile and leather industries, electrical and electronic industries, etc.

Speaking on the occasion the Deputy Chief Minister said that the relationship between Iran and Hyderabad dates back to many centuries as the descendants of Qutb Shahi dynasty founded the city. He said that the youngest state of Telangana is the best option for forging industrial relations as there is conducive environment is prevailing in the state under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister, K Chandrasekhar Rao who introduced first of its kind new industrial policy with corruption free approach approvals in 15 days. Another round of meeting of both parties will finalise the particular areas of business interests he said. On a lighter note he remarked that Iran is an integral part of every Hyderabadi, as their day starts with an Irani Chai which has become an essential part of the cities cuisine. Jupally Krishna Rao said that there is huge opportunity for bilateral industrial development and looked forward to welcoming the delegation again to finalize on the modalities. Rao promised to off all possible support in developing and strengthening the relations between the Iran and Telangana state for mutual benefit. Both the ministers assured the delegation of sending a similar high level commerce and industrial delegation from the Telangana State to Iran soon. (NSS)
