Iran nuke deal monitoring to cost $6 mn, says UN

The U.N. nuclear agency has estimated that monitoring Iran’s compliance with terms of the nuclear deal reached with six world powers is going to cost six million dollars.

The report said that the IAEA can save minimal costs by reassigning some staff, but most of the funding will have to come from contributions, Fox News reports.

The U.N. International Atomic Energy Agency’s (IAEA) 35-nation governing board is expected to approve the monitoring role in a meeting on Monday.

The six-month nuclear deal between Tehran and six world powers is scheduled to be implemented starting Monday and is aiming at a permanent accord. (ANI)
