Women are prohibited to attend matches in Iran and if caught will face arrest for doing so hence in order to watch their favourite team play, five Iranian women disguised themselves as men to watch the Football match between Persepolis and Sepidrood Rasht.
According to the reports from Daily Sabah these five women who were supporting Persepolis team had gained entry into the stadium by disguising as men wearing fake wigs and beards.

Team Persepolis later won the Persian Gulf Pro League.
Reports from Mailonline said as many as 35 women have been arrested from the same venue three weeks ago during the match between Persepolis and Esteghlal.
Iranian President had promised to make changes to laws on women being allowed into the stadiums after FIFA President Gianni Infantino visited Iran.
