Ahmedabad, May 04: CBI today questioned Geeta Johri, senior Gujarat cadre IPS officer and former investigating officer in Sohrabuddin Sheikh fake encounter killing case in connection with the 2005 incident.
Rajnish Rai, another IPS officer who had headed the investigation earlier, and retired IPS officer G C Raigar were also questioned in the same case today. Raigar is a former chief of CID Crime which had earlier investigated the fake encounter.
The central agency, which is probing the 2005 incident following an order of the Supreme Court, had last week summoned six IPS officers, involved in probing the case, for questioning.
Johri and Raigar reached the CBI office in Gandhinagar at around 1030 hours and their interrogation went on till 1830 hrs.
Both Raigar and Johri could be called again for questioning, CBI sources said.
