Information and Public Relations department is all set for an official launch of upgraded netizen-friendly web portal within a fortnight.
In a press release, Commissioner Dr Chandravadan stated that apart from the existing services like daily press releases, photos, media letters, archives, history facts and figures of AP, department’s details, media facilitations, advertisement related info, publications info and other related details of I&PR and the AP State Film, Television and Theatre Development Corporation, the advanced version will have more features, he added.
Taking advantage of the technology, providing wide range of facilities, will enhance the image of the department besides becoming more users friendly Dr Chandravadan stated. Much care has been taken while reconceptualizing the existing site while adding features like maps, links to district websites, State symbols, State officers’ data, listing of GOs, tenders, citizen charter, online services of various departments, examination results, department rejoinders, e-service of district offices, citizen journalist, various downloadable forms, video on demand, publications of department, display advertisements, banners, feedback through face book and others are likely to be added, he added.
Minister for Information and Public Relations will be launching the portal soon, he added. (NSS)
