The Institute of Preventive Medicine on Tuesday gave clean chit to the quality of drinking water being supplied by the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board.
The IPM monitored 58 areas in different parts of GHMC during the week April 14 to April 20 and found all the three parameters viz., R.C., Physico-Chemical samples and bacteriological samples were normal. A total of 349 samples were tested for Residual Chlorine (RC) and in all the samples RC was found. 35 samples were tested for bacteriological quality and 21 samples were tested for chemical analysis and found all the samples satisfactory, the HMWS&SB claimed in a press release.
