Tainted cricketer S Sreesanth, who had been arrested a couple of weeks back for his alleged role in spot-fixing, was on Tuesday sent to judicial custody.
He will be lodged in Tihar jail till his bail plea which would be heard on June 3.
Sreesanth, along with two other Rajasthan Royals team mates Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan, had been arrested for their involvement in spot-fixing. Several bookies were also arrested after they had been arrested.
