MS Dhoni who single-handedly won the match against Rajasthan Royals in the ongoing IPL 2019 match had a miraculous escape during the sixth over of Chennai Super King’s batting.
Rajasthan Royals fast bowler Jofra Archer bowled a short pitch delivery to which MS Dhoni defended, however, the ball hit the bat and then rolled on to the stumps. The bails, however, remained unmoved and unlit.

It was only the second ball he was facing in the innings and he was yet to get off the mark. CSK who already lost Shane Watson, Ambati Rayudu and Kedar Jadhav was on 28/3 and Dhoni and Suresh Raina were at the crease.
The official IPL Twitter handle posted the video with the caption “Thala Dhoni effect? When even bails refused to fall.” Later, Dhoni guided CSK to victory with his spectacular knock of 75 of 46 balls.
