Karachi, Aug.08 : Former Pakistan skipper Inzamam-ul-Haq has lavished praise on veteran batsman Younis Khan for his sparkling performance in Tests, saying that it was exemplary for the youngsters.
Describing Younis as a self made person, Inzamam added that it was his hard work and consistency, which enabled him to beat his record as well as setting new records, the Dawn reported.
Inzamam also backed the 37-year-old to attain milestone of 10,000 runs in Tests for his team.
Younis scored 8814 runs in 101 Tests, including 30 hundreds and 29 fifties.
Younis became the fifth Pakistan batsman and 62nd overall to play 100 Tests during the second match of the Test series against Sri Lanka in June.
Younis, who has a career Test average of 54.07, is the third most prolific batsmen for Pakistan behind Javed Miandad and Inzamam ul Haq and just needs 19 more runs to claim the top spot. (ANI)
