Beijeng, July 25: Chinese artist liu bolin seemingly disappears by painting his body into the background
Just like a chameleon, artist Liu Bolin can blend into any background.
The real-life invisible man can disappear into his surroundings no matter how complicated they might be.

In a series of mind-boggling photographs, the 36-year-old melts into red phone boxes and even earthquake rubble.
It means people walking by while he is carrying out his performance often have no idea he is nearby until he moves away.
To create his pictures, Liu, of Shandong, China, uses his own body as a canvas, painting himself to merge with whatever is behind him.
The photos can take more than 10 hours to complete. “Some people call me the invisible man, but for me it’s what is not seen in a picture which tells the story,” he said.
The artist was forced from his studio by the Chinese government an experience which affected him deeply.
“The forced removal is, in fact, my direct inspiration of this series of photographs, Hiding in the City,” he added.
