Investors coming forward to set up units in AP: CM

Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy has said investors had recognized Andhra Pradesh as the best place for setting up industries despite unfavorable atmosphere in the State.

Launching a new plant of Berger Centure Paints at Hindupur in Anantapur district, Kiran Kumar Reddy expressed happines over setting up of Asia’s biggest water paint factory in the State. He thanked the management of Beger Company for investing Rs 5,500 crores in the backward Anantapur district. He claimed that thousands of companies were coming forward to set up their units and invest thousands of crores of rupees in the State.

The Chief Minister informed that the Centre has identified Medak, Chittoor and Prakasam districts as best places for investments.
Ministers Shailajanath and Raghuveera Reddy, former minister J C Diwakar Reddy were also present. (NSS)
