Publisher of Screw magazine AL Goldstein, who smashed down US’ legal barriers against pornography, died on Thursday at a Brooklyn hospital after a long illness. He was 77.
The publisher of Screw magazine did it all, from publishing nude photographs of former first Lady Jacqueline Kennedy to placing an 11-foot-tall sculpture of an extended middle finger outside his Florida home, News.com.au reported.
His friend and attorney Charles C. DeStefano, remembered Goldstein as an intellectual who cared about the world and geopolitics, but after a lavish life of mind and body, he was often broke. (ANI)
