This year UNEP (United Nations Environment Program) has declared India as the official host for World Environment Day. This is a great honor and responsibility for India and each Indian especially at this crucial juncture when issues like Global Warming are posing a serious threat to the whole world. At Pegasystems our constant endeavor is to contribute to the environment in whatever way possible. Infact Pegasystems in Hyderabad is the first company in AP and amongst very few companies in India to procure and install eco friendly furniture.
This year since Environment Day falls on a Sunday, we would be celebrating it on 3rd June 2011 at our facility. We have put together few innovative initiatives to encourage our associates as well as people around to contribute to the cause. We have installed a drop box where in associates can drop in their ideas to conserve environment. The best ideas will be implemented at Pegasystems India office. We also have an awareness drive wherein our associates will go out and create awareness regarding environment conservation amongst the general public, outside DLF building and IIiT Campus. Our associates will also plant saplings in the premises to increase the green cover around us.
On a regular basis also we have many initiatives in place to save environment like reduce paper usage in office by replacing tissue papers with hand towels, avoiding using paper cups and so on.

World Environment Day is worldwide celebration of pro-environment activities and it has grown today as the largest medium of raising awareness about the environment and the issues that put it at risk. We at Netxcell always try our best to contribute to the cause of eco conservation by having various energy conservation initiatives in place at our office. This year we have decided to take the environment awareness amongst our employees to next level by conducting an interesting quiz totally based on eco conservation in our office on the occasion of World Environment Day. We believe this will be a fun way to create interest amongst our people to know more about our eco system and how they can contribute to the cause.

ADP India has a constant drive for better E-waste management under which its associates are encouraged to hand over all sorts of personal E-Waste which had accumulated at their homes, to the company. This is further handed over to a firm that specializes in the treatment, handling and safe scientific disposal of E-waste. Large and hazardous items are collected directly from the homes of the associates and handed over to the concerned party. ADP has collected various types of items which includes not only small things like CDs but also computers, printers, washing machines, DVD players to name a few.
As soon as the collection reaches 1 ton ADP hands it over to the E Waste recycling firm.

Czech Republic and one of the most promising automobile companies in India, is organizing a day long ‘Free Pollution Check Up’ campaign on the occasion of “World Environment Day” to promote greener, safer and healthier environment in India.
The ‘Free Pollution Check Up’ campaign aims to generate awareness on environment protection / conservation through customer education and also contribute in saving our environment by maintaining in-use-vehicles. The campaign will be held on 5th June 2011 across all authorized Škoda dealerships.
