International Plastics Exhibition (IPLEX) will be held here from August 8 to 11 at Hitex Exhibition Center.
Giving details to the media here today, IPLEX-14 the convener V. Anil Reddy informed that the four-day Mega Plastics Show, which was conceived and nursed to promote the growth of plastics processing industries in South India will be formally inaugurated by Ananth Kumar, Union Minister for Chemicals and Fertilizers on August 8 at 5pm. However, the Exhibition will be on right from the morning of August 8, he informed.
The Expo is being organized by Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka Plastics Manufacturers Association in association with Central Institute of Plastics Engineering & Technology. It is supported by Union Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals, Plastindia Foundation, All India Plastics Manufacturers Association; Indian Plastics Institute, Gujarat State Plastics Manufacturers Association (GSPMA), Indian Plastics Federation (IPF) and others.
