International conference on Electronic Warfare to be held in Bengaluru

Singapore : The Association of Old Crows India Chapter (AOC IC) is organising fourth international conference on electronic warfare in TATA Auditorium, Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru from February 22 to 25.

AOC IC instituted in 2010 is striving to synergise Indian Industries, Academia and Research and Development Organisations for the development of state-of-the-Art Electronic Warfare products in order to strengthen the Indian Armed Forces so that they can perform efficiently and effectively in the battlefields.

Dr. Revankar, Director (Retd.), DARE, DRDO, Bengaluru and the President of AOC IC proudly declares that his Chapter has been awarded four times consecutively as the Best Chapter in the Asian Region by the AOC Head Quarter, USA.

This conference comprises tutorials on February 22 followed by the main conference inauguration on February 23.

Dr. G Satish Reddy, DS and scientific advisor to Defence Minister, will be inaugurating the conference. Around 400 delegates from wide spectrum of defence industries, academia and Armed Forces are expected to participate in this conference. Nearly 50 exhibitors from Indian Industries and abroad are displaying their avant-garde products supporting Electronic Warfare.

Nearly 30 percent of delegates and 15 percent of exhibitors from foreign nationals will be interacting with their Indian counterparts. The theme of the conference, ‘Partner for Self-Reliance’ precisely ignites ‘Make in India” mantra of the Indian Government.

Network Centric and Information Warfare, Anti Terrorism Operations, Low Intensity Conflict and Programme Management of Complex EW Systems are the advanced topics among others being discussed in the purview of Electronic Warfare.

This conference is expected to establish a wide network among the designers, scientists, industrialists and users for a healthy partnership to develop and produce electronic warfare systems in the country. (ANI)
