Hyderabad, August 17: The internal squabbles in the ruling Congress in Andhra Pradesh continued unabated with some junior party leaders today taking exception to a senior MLA’s allegations against late Y S Rajasekhara Reddy-led government over land deals.
“Senior MLA D L Ravindra Reddy has been going on and on making allegations of corruption against the Rajasekhara Reddy administration over the transfer of land by Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC) to private companies. This hurts the party a lot,” Congress MLCs M S Prabhakar and K Rajeswara Rao told reporters here.
Ravindra Reddy should take up the issue with Chief Minister K Rosaiah or state Congress President D Srinivas instead of going public with his allegations, they said.
“Ravindra Reddy is speaking like a TDP leader. Is he hand in glove with TDP? He should mend his ways. Otherwise, we will complain to the party leadership about him,” they said.
