Hyderabad, August 07: It is very regretful that the sectarian conflicts of the Muslims have transformed the mosques into the centres of hatred. It is an indecent thing that the conflicts of the Muslims have started reaching the police which is presenting a bad pictures to the other citizens of the country. The disputes of Jamia Masjid Musheerabad, Jamia Masjid Khairatabad and Jamia Masjid Nirmal have crossed the boundaries of the mosques and reached the police stations and law courts.
Police also feels helpless in resolving such disputes. Vexed with the disputes of Jamia Masjid Musheerabad, Police Commissioner Mr. A.K. Khan suggested to the Secretary, Minorities Welfare Dept. to undertake its administration and make Wakf Board responsible for it. Two groups representing Tableeghi Jamaat and Sunnatul Jamaat have differences. Sometimes these differences lead to tension in the area. In the letter addressed to Secretary, Minorities Welfare Dept, Mr. A.K. Khan mentioned that seven incidents of conflicts have occurred during the past two years and the situations got so worsened that police pickets had to be posted there to control the warring groups. He also requested both the groups not to indulge in any unlawful activities.
