An 18-year-old girl committed suicide after she was chided by her parents for not going to college.
According to Kandukur police, the deceased, P Monika, was studying intermediate second year. However, she was not going to college for the last few days due to ill-health. On Wednesday, she was rebuked by her parents for not being regular to college. Felt humiliated, she had set herself ablaze. She was immediately rushed to the Osmania General Hospital where she died a few hours after admission. (
