It is expected that the pressure on the students for getting highest marks would end. Due to the introduction of the grading system, there will be a difference of 10 marks from one grade to the other.

Mr. Madhusudhan Reddy, President of Govt. Junior Colleges Union applauded the step proposed to be taken by the Govt. and said that it is a welcome gesture. He further said that it is essential to introduce this system in order to curb suicides among students.

With the introduction of this system, no student could be declared to have secured the highest marks in the intermediate examination. This will reduce the number of suicides among the students.
