(Siasat News) A.P. High Court issued an interim stay order for one week on the decision of A.P. State Wakf Board for removing Wakf properties from the Wakf Register and also to take possession of all those properties held by Qadiyanis.
Qadiyanis had approached A.P. High Court against this decision. Mr. Justice Samadrarajulu of A.P. High court issued an interim stay order to postpone the implementation of Wakf Board’s decision for a week and issued notice to Wakf Board to file its counter affidavit.
Reacting to this order, Maulana Syed Ghulam Afzal Biyabani, Chairman of Wakf Board told that such a judgement was expected but Wakf Board had taken a decision after obtaining the opinions of the legal experts. He also said that Legal proceedings of Writ petition No. 11498/12 will be faced by giving the responsibility to standing counsel of Wakf Board.
A meeting will be organized at 11. am on Sunday 22nd April at Azam Function Hall, Moghalpura to take into consideration various aspects of the judgement of A.P. High Court. Convener of the meeting Mr. Mohammed Farooq has requested all the Muslims irrespective of their schools of thought to attend this meeting and support the concept of last Prophethood of Hazrath Mohammed (SAWS). He further said that it is the responsibility of all the Muslims to protect this belief.
